Description: Many projects and solutions require the processing of personal data. This comes with challenges and questions about what is right and wrong to do with personal data. Even the subject of what constitutes personal data often raises loud discussions. This talk will focus on some of these issues through the looking glass of Data Privacy by Design and by Default. Speaker: Mattias Gotthold, Senior Legal Counsel at Data Law Center. Bio: Mattias Gotthold is an experienced data law lawyer. He's a technology and privacy enthusiast specializing in laws surrounding data, which includes data protection (i.e GDPR), information security and national security. He is currently a board member and vice chairperson at the Swedish Data Protection Forum which has almost 800 members working in the field of data protection. He is an advocate for open source solutions the legal community and firm believer of open security and that Security by Obscurity is a flawed concept.
