However regulations often stand in the way of deploying highly confidential workloads and data in cloud platforms. Confidential computing is an emerging capability where hardware and firmware ensure that workloads and data get strong security guarantees in confidential enclaves. In this talk I will discuss the practical aspects of setting up and configuring confidential computing environments on two different implementations - Intel SGX and AMD SEV-SNP.
